H.S. / M.S. and Elementary Handbooks - Lesson Ideas / Essential Info.

Here are the handbooks for foreign teachers (in English) for all the P.S. grade levels. Lots of great ideas/lessons and essential reading for teachers new to Korea. I added a lot of material and I hope you'll find this useful. You will need the Hansoft Reader to read some of the documents (they wouldn't convert). GET IT HERE!

For lesson ideas , you can't go wrong with TEACHING RECIPES.

Also see the Activities book to supplement the H.S. textbook. Many ideas!

H.S. Handbook and Lesson Plans

***** Middle School 2 - is a large file. I will work on ways to convert everything to pdf but in the meantime, this will have to do. (but it has lots of great stuff).

i am having difficulty downloading the files, what program do you suggest i open them with. Is it possible for you to post them in a different form?

Alix,

These files will download but because they are larger files -- you have to leave your browser open until they finish. It might seem the browser is "stuck" but rest assured, if you wait, it will appear.

An easier way is to just right click your mouse and "save as"....

Also, go here to download them, this might work better... It is the SMOE folder at http://mediafire.com/eflclassroom

Actually, the correct address is HERE for mediafire.

Hi David,

The files I am trying to open are encoded - they open as boxes and dashes. Anyway around this?
Thanks,
Amy

Amy,

You'll have to use the hansoft viewer / reader for any .hwp files. Get it here as described at the top of this discussion.

Get your school to install hansoft on your school computer so you'll be able to read these documents. Korean teachers use hansoft quite a lot though I do see a trend towards google docs and docx
